Why do we live? What is the purpose, the essence of our life?
Is it our striving for a happy life- what ever that may be?
There is somehow the gnawing feeling in us,
that despite everything we are pursuing or have already accomplished,
we haven’t really come close to the essence of our life.
We might hear or read sometimes that we are divine and eternal beings….. but look at us, with all our shortcomings!
And even in moments when we feel good about ourselves,
it doesn’t seem complete. Something important seems to be lacking….

This is easier said than done!
Peace cannot be attained by the will, by "deciding" that we want it. We need to approach it with great understanding of what in us is not in harmony with this state of being, what obstacles are on our path. This is an inner process which we invite to explore with us.
We are all striving for lasting happiness and fulfillment, whatever that may be. But we cannot find it, or only as a short-lived experience. So, we continue to strive for it.
