More and more people come to see how institutional religions, despite their important social role, have mostly failed over the millennia to guide humanity's longing for a higher connection to the divine, to the essential, often descending into pure materialism and mixing in the struggle for power.
Christianity itself, or the perception of what Christianity is about, has been constantly marred by constant struggles and internal conflict.
What is however the hidden core at the root of the Christian spiritual impulse, beyond the dogmatic, ritualistic aspects of organised religion?
