Breaking free from the ego
The circumstances you experience around you are a precise reflection of your inner life. Therefore, if you wish to change your outer circumstances, you must first change your inner life. When you realize this, you will no longer play the role of a victim, but will always take responsibility for what you experience.
Understanding the true nature of the Ego is essential before you can clearly see and walk the path to true Freedom. For, “How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye?"
